Overview: Rocklatan is used to reduce increased pressure in the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by helping fluid drain from the eye which lowers pressure in the eye. Common side effects include eye redness, eye pain or discomfort, and a red spot on the white of the eye caused by bleeding under the surface. Call your health care provider right away if you have trouble breathing, vision changes, eye pain, eyelid skin darkening or hair growth, increase in length, color, thickness, shape, or number of eyelashes.

Uses

What is Rocklatan used for?

Rocklatan is commonly used to reduce increased pressure in the eye in people with either open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Rocklatan may also be used for other conditions as determined by your health care provider.

How does Rocklatan work (mechanism of action)?

Rocklatan contains two active ingredients: netarsudil and latanoprost. People with glaucoma or ocular hypertension have high intraocular pressure (IOP), or high pressure inside the eye. Having high IOP increases the risk for vision loss because of damage to the optic nerve in the eyes. Rocklatan works by helping the fluid in the eye drain out, which helps decrease IOP.
