Overview: Zilbrysq is used to treat myasthenia gravis. It works by blocking part of the immune system called the complement system, which is overactive in people with this condition. Common side effects include nose or throat infections, diarrhea, and pain, itching, swelling, or irritation near the injection site. Zilbrysq increases the risk of serious, life-threatening meningococcal infections, so you may need certain vaccines before starting it. Get emergency help right away if you have symptoms such as fever, headache with a stiff neck, confusion, or vision that is sensitive to light. Zilbrysq is a once-daily injection that you or a caregiver can give using a prefilled syringe or autoinjector.
