Uses

What is Voyxact used for?

Voyxact (sibeprenlimab-szsi) is commonly used for certain people with immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy, which is a kidney problem.

Understanding Voyxact for IgA Nephropathy

Voyxact may also be used for other conditions as determined by your health care provider.

How does Voyxact work (mechanism of action)?

In IgA nephropathy, there is an abnormal form of an antibody called immunoglobulin A (IgA). This abnormal IgA can build up deposits in the kidneys and lead to kidney damage. When the kidneys are damaged, protein can spill into your pee (proteinuria). Voyxact works by helping to lower levels of an IgA antibody thought to be involved in IgA nephropathy. This medicine is used to help reduce protein in your pee.
