What do Rolaids products treat?
Rolaids products are commonly used for quick relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, sour or upset stomach, or gas (pressure and bloating). Most products can be taken by adults and children 12 years and older.
Rolaids products work because of the different active ingredients they contain:
- Antacids (such as calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide) work quickly to neutralize (or calm down) the acid in your stomach.

- Laying down after eating
- Smoking

What are the possible side effects of Rolaids products?
Rolaids products are usually well tolerated. Side effects may vary depending on the ingredients in the specific product you are using. Some possible side effects can include stomach problems, including constipation, gas, bloating, and diarrhea.
Stop taking the product if you develop a rash or hives. Get medical help right away if you have signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing or swelling of the face, lips, or throat.
What should I know before using Rolaids products?
