What should I know about Lamlique before using it?

Do not take Lamlique unless it has been prescribed to you by a health care provider. Take it exactly as prescribed.

Do not share Lamlique with other people, even if they have the same condition as you. It may harm them.

Keep Lamlique out of the reach of children.

Shake the bottle well before each use.

Use an accurate measuring device to measure your dose. A household spoon is not an accurate measuring device and may cause you to take the wrong dose. Ask your pharmacist what measuring device to use.

Do not stop taking Lamlique without talking to your health care provider. Stopping Lamlique suddenly may cause or worsen seizures. Talk to your health care provider about how to stop Lamlique safely.

Lamlique is not the same as other lamotrigine products. Using the wrong product or dose could increase the risk of side effects. Always double check the label to make sure you have the correct product and dose. Contact your pharmacy or health care provider if you have questions about your medicine.

If you need a drug screening test, tell the person performing the test that you take Lamlique. Lamlique can interfere with certain urine drug tests and may cause a false-positive result, especially for PCP.

What should I tell my health care provider before using Lamlique?
