Beth Braverman is a full-time freelancer who has been covering personal finance, healthcare, and workplace benefits for more than 20 years. She holds an undergraduate degree in newspaper reporting from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a master’s in business reporting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Braverman’s work has won recognition from organizations including the American Society of Business Publication Editors, the Society of Americans Business Editors and Writers, and the New York Financial Writers Association. Her work has appeared in dozens of publications, including CNN Business, CNBC, Consumer Reports, and AARP.
Braverman lives in Westchester County, New York, with her husband, two children, and their pandemic puppy, Tzatziki Sauce. When she’s not writing, Braverman enjoys yoga, running, and spending too much time making sure that her fitness tracker gave her credit for those activities.
